Olga Berkovich Lopategui is an experienced restaurant marketing executive focused on international franchising business. In her current capacity as the Director of International Marketing with TGI Fridays, she oversees the marketing, advertising and product development of franchise restaurant operators in 50 countries. Olga has been guiding the international franchisees on new restaurant/market openings, and is closely involved with the identification and selection of vendor partners for restaurant technology. She has worked with a wide range of restaurant CRM tools, including loyalty program solutions, stored value card (SVC) solutions, social media management tools, e-mail and SMS/BBM communication engines, guest satisfaction surveys, queue management and tabletop ordering solutions. Olga brings extensive cross-functional experience in Operations, Learning and Development and Supply Chain and a deep understanding of decision-making process in large, established companies as well as entrepreneurial restaurant businesses. Her operational and marketing perspective on the use of technology is unique as she had the opportunities to work in various restaurant management capacities in the USA, UK, Taiwan and Russia. Prior to joining TGI Fridays, Olga was with Yum Restaurants International (Pizza Hut and KFC brands). She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (’05), and Master of Laws from Georgetown University (’99). Olga is based in Dallas, TX and enjoys travel, photography, world cuisines, skiing and scuba diving.
